another...

beautiful abondoned factory in the outskirts of my hometown Thessaloniki. Visited when probably was still in operation but didnt notice it only last year while exploring the area again. On the 30th December entered for the first time. Completely ruined but not any tags etc. Photos taken with Gopro.

finally...

making more frequent visits to the abandoned factory, though not as often as I would like. A quick in-situ installation to satisfy my creative cravings. A few things are stirring inside this beautiful, haunting space—hopefully, nothing that will spoil its charm with careless tags or thoughtless damage. I have plans that feel right for a space like this. Something new, something that honors its story.

Thank you D.Vasileiou for the pics.

out of time...

Wanted to visit this place since 2014 but was not possible. Last days found out a new entrance and entered for the first time today. For almost two hours forgot all my issues and everything in general. One of the best abandoned factories ever visited. Next weekend plans to make some installations.

Thank you for the pics Ivana

the seven samurai...

I discovered the existence of this small mag. around in 2009. Most of the artworks (70%) have been made in 2001 but the mag. was printed in 2006. The abandoned place is the very known chemical factory Diana in Thessaloniki. The reason it was made is the wall from the protagonist of the movie The Seven Samurai. It was printed by the municipality of Stavroupoli in 2000 copies. Some small poems are included too. This is the only one that is left.
